“ Authentic Mexican! I tried this place with the fam after an art opening. I wasn't super hungry so I got a side of rice and refried beans, pico de gallon, sour cream, chips, and some flour tortillas. Took everything home and made my own mini burritos. 'Twas delightful. They make ordering pretty easy, and while there was a line, it moved fast. I asked for my beans without cheese, and thankfully they got that right. They did give me corn tortillas instead of the flour I ordered, but it was easily remedied. Someone I was with got a burrito and I was pretty jealous of it; it was giant! The size of a baby. I'm definitely trying a veggie burrito next time. ”
“ Every time we are doing a wine pick up we normally end up at Taqueria El Sombrero. Their food is delicious, I'm a sucker for tacos! I love tacos! This place does not disappoints! Their service is great! They move pretty fast and bring you the order to your table. My go to is the carne asada, shrimp and chorizo tacos! Juicy, crispy protein with hot sauce. Just right. The price is decent, nothing is over priced. The ambiance is great, not too noisy and you often feel like a family vibe as whole families stop by to eat at times. This is one of the few spots we often stop at after two or three wine tastings. ”
“ This is a simple cantina style taqueria. I came in and ordered at the counter. The service was prompt and very friendly. They have your traditional burritos and tacos. Their tacos are basic but tasty. Nothing out of this ordinary but authentic and solid Mexican food. Since I speak Spanish it was easy and the staff is very friendly - family style friendly. ”

Choice of meat(s) with tortillas, beans, rice, pico de gallo, salsa, chips, onions and cilantro. This was a big hit with our friends for a baby shower. The service was friendly and efficient. The cost was reasonable, $15pp, and the portions were very generous. ”
“ Our go-to burritos in Healdsburg. Takeout is the way to go for us: Al Pastor Burrito - SUPER Veggie Burrito - SUPER (Note: I think lettuce is the only veggie in here. But it's packed with beans and cheese!). Substantial and tasty burritos! The chips leave something to be desired so I often get my fave chips from Big Johns or Sheltons to enjoy instead. Call in your order. Grab a Mexican Coake when you arrive. Pay at the counter. And enjoy! ”
“ This place is nostalgia for me. Grew up coming here as it is a healdsburg staple. The tacos are fresh, the burritos are solid and the food and atmosphere are from a healdsburg long gone buy. Today I got the Carnitas tacos and they hit on all levels, crispy on the outside soft and juicy on the inside. The Chile was spicy but not over bearing and seasoned just right. Admittedly I have a soft spot for this place but it's a throwback to good old fashioned Mexican food. ”
